The Trainer Corps
is an integral component of support for the 41 community and agency-based
affiliates in the Literacy New York network.
The corps provides
training and offers regional workshops in Training of Trainers, Basic
Literacy and English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL), BEST PLUS
Assessment, Bridges to Practice/LD, and other literacy topics necessary
for affiliates to meet ProLiteracy/ Literacy New York Accreditation
standards.
Members of the Literacy
New York Trainer Corps are experienced trainers from Literacy Volunteer
(LV) affiliates statewide. Currently, the Trainer Corps offers the following
